LUMÚ

We've been in Ludwig Museum to watch the current exhibition: Arctic Hysteria – New Art from Finland (February 06, 2009. - April 12, 2009) which was really nice ..except the dark room with the huge diving-suits!:P :)

flat galleries

It was a really nice trip to go and watch 3-4 flat galleries in Budapest!
We've been Molnár Ani Galéria which i loved the most!:) It was very usefull trip for me - how to make and work with an own flat gallery!

Assignment

Our assignment for this class was to make up an exhibition about anything we would like. The exhibition itself doesn't have to be organized (but i will :) ), it just has to be planned.
My idea is to organize my third own exhibition with my papercuts in here in Budapest.

Museum of Applied Art

We saw the permanent exhibition which had a really weird set up.
The artworks were supposed to be in time order. And they were but at the same time I got lost in all the different types of works. There were everything that is applied art and sometimes I just couldnt follow it..well...it was quite confused.

The building itself was very beautiful!I wished to make some pictures from it.. :)

Museum of Fine Arts

It shoul be a really short comment in my blog because i just LOVED IT..but i won't do that!:)

Soo..We visited the Museum of Fine Arts once again in this semester.

This time we saw the temporary exhibitions of Gustave Moreau and Alphonse Mucha.

I really love Mucha's work. I studied a lot about him and this love also tainted my family to. Especially my grandma, who's always makes Mucha tapestry for us!:)

I've been in Praha for several times and also saw the exhibition of Mucha's work, but which was really surprise for me that there were many art pieces which i never saw in my life..i mean personally!:)

"FIRST FRIDAY"

It was a really great openning!:)
The set up of the works was very nice and carefully planned. Maya and Anna held a very a nice opening speech even if they were a little bit nervous. Also the girls played very nice music which was a little bit loud sometimes but still ok.
Also we went to the Museum of Ethnography in this week with Rita and Jeff. It was quite interesting. We were split into 2 parts. Each group went to the modern selection first to check and find mistakes during the exhibition, the other one enjoyed the permanent exhibition about the old years, which was really nice to me to see and talk about the old hungarian things to my classmates!:)
